Our 2026 Guest of Honour, Anny (the rain dragon), embodies the spirit of flavor of Wonderland in tea and coffee!
Fursuiter, roaster and tea maker, Anny (he/him) has quite a curiosity for everything flavourful. Originally hailing from his beloved Montréal (QC), Anny has been around the local furry community for more than a decade. As an unashamed europhile, he has been spotted in Europe, joining furry folks at EuroFurence and Flüüfff conventions and living abroad for a few years where a deep passion for the culinary arts and gastronomic patrimony was ignited in him.
Once returned from Europe, the wheels were in motion. Wishing to combine his deep appreciation for the furry fandom and the pleasure of coffee roasting, Anny founded “Torréfactions du dragon” in 2024 and has since then branched out into teas as well. His idea was simple, a somewhat loose medieval backdrop and every bag featuring art from various local furry artists.
Born from the dissatisfaction of naturally flavoured coffees (why no blueberry coffees in Canada?!) what was once a side project turned into quite the side hustle and has found it’s way into the homes of many Furries over time. Surprising the taste buds, spreading a universal warmth and comforting feeling one mug at a time has been his mission ever since!
